Sarah Lyndon, PsyD

Dr. Sarah Lyndon is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Since beginning her career in psychology in 2009, she has provided care across diverse settings, including schools, community mental health agencies, and partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. She also served as Clinical Director at the DBT Center of Orange County for six years.
Licensed since 2018, Dr. Lyndon earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Psychology. She is a Foundationally Trained DBT Clinician currently pursuing DBT Certification and has advanced training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), DBT-Prolonged Exposure (DBT-PE), DBT for Children (DBT-C), Functional Family Therapy (FFT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Her clinical specialties include trauma-related disorders, anxiety, mood disorders, and personality disorders.
Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Lyndon is dedicated to teaching, mentorship, and professional development. Over the past eight years, she has supervised and mentored doctoral practicum students, master’s-level associates, and postdoctoral fellows. She also serves as Adjunct Faculty and Course Lead in Pepperdine University’s Master’s in Psychology program, supporting and guiding future clinicians through their practicum training experiences.
Dr. Lyndon is passionate about helping individuals strengthen their understanding of the mind-body connection, build resilience, and prioritize meaningful self-care. She believes every person’s path is unique and feels honored to support patients as they work toward greater balance, fulfillment, and emotional well-being.
